Veilsort 1.0 — launch notes

Private email triage on your iPhone and iPad.

April 2026 — Veilsort 1.0 is now available on the App Store. Share an email into Veilsort from your iOS share sheet to get a plain-English summary, a list of deadlines, risk flags, and a suggested reply — all on your device using Apple Intelligence.

Veilsort is an informational tool only. It is not medical, legal, financial, tax, insurance, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it alone for decisions that affect your health, legal rights, deadlines, finances, or obligations. Always verify important information with a qualified professional before you act.
How it works

On-device analysis, from your share sheet.

One share, one tap. Your email content stays on your device.

Share in from Mail

Use the iOS share sheet to send an email to Veilsort. The text is saved into a private, sandboxed container on your device.

Masked before analysis

Before analysis, the app masks names, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses.

On-device with Apple Intelligence

The masked text is analyzed on your device by Apple Foundation Models, part of Apple Intelligence. Nothing leaves the device.

You control retention

History is encrypted with iOS Data Protection and auto-deletes on a schedule you choose (7–365 days; default 90).
